IT’S BEEN A TRIP
Take a trip back in time from where we are now to back when we started. It has been a wild ride to get here with the car.
Here is a rough timeline of the work that was done on the car.
April 10th 2024
Trevor replaces the break light in the spoiler.
February 28th 2024
L&T Fastworks installs a new speedometer and the dream gets four new tires balanced and mounted.
December 30th 2023
Back to L&T Fastworks for a new alternator that does the trick and the car is off to hit the streets.
December 21st 2023
Just in time for Christmas the dream is fully wrapped and ready to get to work. But wait… the battery keeps dying.
December 16th 2023
Headed in for the rest of the wrap at The Wrap Guys.
December 13th 2023
Delivered to The Wrap Guys in port kels the dream is ready for a glam up as we do a partial wrap just in time for the bench event on december 14th.
November 21st 2023
The dream is delivered to Nardo Customs in Agassiz to have peeling paint removed and body damage fixed.
November 19th 2023
An emotional day as Trevor picks up the car that is now driving. The sun is shining for the drive home on an otherwise rainy week. You can’t help but smile.
October 27th 2023
The Clutch master cylinder, Clutch slave cylinder, Clutch release bearing are replaced.
The car is now drivable and goes for its first ride in 8 years.
September 29th 2023
The fuel injectors are installed and we get the Dream to turn over. Vroom Vroom!
August 22nd 2023
The car still wont start. It’s decided we need new fuel injectors.
August 5th 2023
The dream car is loaded onto the flat deck and sent to L&T Fastworks where it starts it’s journey of recovery. The following work was done.
an Electrical diagnosis is done.
the battery was hooked up backwards and the vehicles main 120amp fuse was blown, multiple 10-15amp fuses in car. Replaced fuses and some wiring cleaned grounds.
replaced intake manifold gasket, spark plug wires and spark plugs.
